I've been looking at them for a good month now&when I saw them in the store I had to have them. I was in love. Mental fireworks were set off as I imagined wearing them with knit tights and a cute belted dress with a sweater on top. When I got back home I tried to make myself walk in them and had to take them off after a few hours. If only the platform in the front was higher... (it's really much smaller then it looks in the picture) Although they hurt, pain is beauty&I'm in love. So I'm going to buy some pads to put on the sole. An update is to follow...

sociology is overrated, but balmain isn't
I can't pay attention to sociology 8:30 in the morning. It just doesn't work. So what do I do? Put together outfits&look at couture.
balmain's spring collection is gorgeous. GORGEOUS. For instance the amazing sequined green number above. Besides the light blue ripped jeans, I think I may be in love. Especially with the military-inspired jackets that everyone can reuse from fall... because everyone should have bought one.
3.1 philip lim's red military jacket is also fabulous (with a white v-neck, black skinny jeans&black ankle boots... marc jacobs has nice pair):
for something more affordable check out topshop or urban outfitters...
Back to Balmain... I won't even start with the dresses... I'm obsessed. Clearly.
on a semi-related topic, these shoes by burberry with the green dress (and a black clutch)
also, these marc by marc jacobs shoes are fabulous
I'm so happy there are sequins everywhere for fall =]
